One of the most annoying things to face early in the morning is not being connected to one of the damn servers where all the main project source safe DBs are.
You want to start your work nice and easy especially on Monday morning but some freaking reasons, it never happens.
One way or another my Monday mornings are spoiled by this kind of annoyance.
I just hope the connection doesn’t lost or my project gonna be in hell lotta mess.
Where are the system guys when you need one.
Oh I forgot, they always come after 10/11am. Very hard working freaks!!
And where is my coffee? Crap, my laptop low on power, forgot the damn recharger!
I hate Mondays! x-( x-(

If you are a multi language developer, you’ll surely make use of one of these nice tools to convert between different languages.
I’m sure there are alot of programs out there but this web based “Code Translator” one is very fast and on fly convertion. You just paste the code or type the code and it will convert as you type. No need to press enter or whatso ever. If you delete one line, the preview code will remove that line as well. Very cool.
This service will translate the code for you, just start typing the code or upload a file to translate it.
For now it only supports from VB.NET to C# and from C# to VB.NET.
To use it you can either:1. Start typing your code.
2. Copy and Paste the code in the Code Text Box.
3. Translate an entire file using the file upload.

If you don’t like web based convertor and feel like have it on your system, you gotta try my favorite Lutz Roeder’s .Net Reflector program which can convert to quite a few languages.
Reflector for .NET
Reflector is a class browser for .NET components. It supports assembly and namespace views, type and member search, XML documentation, call and callee graphs, IL, Visual Basic, Delphi and C# decompiler, dependency trees, base type and derived type hierarchies and resource viewers.
You can convert up to 4 languages (IL, C#, VB, Delphi). Another coolest function the “Reflector” provide is the ability to disassemble/decompile various assembly files (.dll and .exe).
Well yah, you can easily steal others compiled codes just by using “Reflector” to decompile it.
It’ll list down all the classes, functions and everything from your assembly file. Sweet hah?
It’s very useful for me cos’ I sometime need to steal reference others codes and make a few convertion between languages, so yah I really love that program.
Our trainer Steve Rodgers is the one who introduced us with both the convertors and their usefulness.
My sincere appreciation goes to him. Thanks.
If you know any other good one like this, do let me know.
Cheers.

This is very neat and clean CSS image swapping. Before we(I) used to do the same effect using dreamweaver image swap behaviour which creates lots of messy javascript code. Thanks to the creator, we can now switch easily with his cool CSS.
This is a pure CSS image switcher that is lightweight and standards-compliant. It could be used for a gallery or any similar function. Any number of list selection options can be used so long as the width can accommodate them.

I just added flicker gallery plugin “falbum” and you can now view some of the photos from my flicker account.
I love this plugin, I’ve been thinking of having gallery on the site and this one make it alot easier. Just need to do abit of config with my template since I mess around with the code inside before. Otherwise the setup should work in a few seconds.
It display all your photo sets as separate gallery groups. The photo display is excellent too, can change to many sizes, slideshow etc.
I just love this one.
Thanks alot to the creator.

I just found out how they do the accessibility test on web sites.
This is how blind people browse the net.
This particular round of testing is trying to sort out blind and text-based browser users preferences in certain aspects of page layout.

Over at Okdork, Noah wrote about 10 best ways to quit your job.
I must say they are very interesting and the best ways I’ve ever seen. But I dare not try some of those cos’ they are pretty extreme and abit way off form my capability. LOL.
These are 10 best ways you could consider when you thinkinf of quitting your job.
You gotta read the whole post to understand each points. “10 Best Ways to Quit Your Job”
I prefer send a note or email or just polite quitting. But if I must then I think I might consider doing the first point from his list.
#2, 4, 7, 9 and 10 are just unthinkable for me. LOL

I got this from a friend forwarded email and thought would be quite a nice note to keep about what/why they celebrate Diwali. :p
Diwali
A young second generation Indian in the US, is explaining the significance of Diwali to his younger brother. This is how he would go about it…
So, like this dude had, like, a big cool kingdom and people liked him. But, like, his step-mom, or something, was kind of a bitch, and she forced her husband to, like, send this cool-dude, he was Ram, to some national forest or something… since he was going, for like, something like more than 10 years or so, he decided to get his wife and his bro along… you know…so that they could all chill out together.
But DUDE, the forest was reeeeal scaryshit… really man…they had monkeys and devils and shit like that. But this dude, Ram, kicked ass with darts and bows and arrows…so it was fine. But then some bad gangsta boys, some jerk called Ravan, picks up his babe (Sita) and lures her away to his hood. And boy, was our man, and also his bro, Lakshman, pissed… And you DONt piss this son-of-a-gun cuz, he just kicks ass and like, all the gods were with him. So anyways, you dont mess with gods. SO, Ram, and his bro get an army of monkeys.
Dude, dont ask me how they trained the damn monkeys… just go along with me, ok… so, Ram, Laksh. and their monkeys whip this gangstas ass in his own hood. Anyways, by this time, their times up in the forest and anyways .. it gets kinda boring, you know… no TV or malls or shit like that. So, they decided to hitch a ride back home…and when the people realize that our dude, his bro and the wife are back home…they thought, well, you know, at least they deserve something nice… and they didnt have any bars or clubs in those days…so they couldnt take them out for a drink, so they, like, decided to smoke and shit…and since they also had some lamps, they lit the lamps also … so it was pretty cooool … you know with all those fireworks, really, they even had some local band play along with the fireworks.. and you know, what, dude, that was the very first, no kidding.., that was the very first music-synchronized fireworks…you know,! like the 4th of July stuff, but just, more cooler and stuff, you know.
And, so dude, THAT was how, like, this festival started. Cool! Diwali rocks,
