Got notice some neat redesign from Rojo.
Also a new feature “Feed Share” where you can share/promote your feeds. I don’t exactly how to use or how it works but what the heck, it’s new feature so gotta test it out.
The feed structures are alot neater and the main page display is more user friendly and better click through I guess. The logo placing also changed.
Well whatever changes, as long as fast feed updates then I’m fine with it.

I was just wondering, how to show my site icon in feed readers.
I mean, is there any code use to display those or only the icons of those sites which has lots of readers are shown there?
I thought those little icons are picked from the availability of your site’s favicon right?
I do have favicon for my site and how come it never been pick up in my feed readers?
Anybody knows a way to show those icons? Any code for that or …??
It’s so unfair! I want to see my icons!!!
Rojo even display screen shots for some sites. Why only some sites?
Is there a way to submit your site screen shot or favicon to those feed readers?

My feed look boring! I want it to show off the favicon/screenshot like others atleast!
Help! Anybody? Somebody? Nobody?

I think this one, “Why I Hate WebLogs” is a school paper on WebLogs.
It’s a nice read and some of the facts he pointed out are true.
I guess it’s R16+ though.

Have you guys heard of this “Lightbox JS” yet? It’s pretty cool way of displaying images.
It’s really neat and compatible across all modern browsers.
Lightbox JS is a simple piece of JavaScript that allows you to place images above the page rather than within. A thumbnail image can be clicked on to show the full size image ontop of the page which remains darkened in the background. Closing the overlayed image brings the webpage back to normal, the user never leaves the current page.
I got an idea to use this lightbox in a new section that I’m planning to add here. At the moment I’m a bit lazy to test it yet but one of our very own developer has already used that in the new revamp of FijiTimes site and it’s working like a charm. You can have a look at in the story section. Click on the story image to enlarge and see how it go. Cool huh!
Benefits
Places images above your current page, not within. This frees you from the constraints of the layout, particularly column widths.Keeps users on the same page. Clicking to view an image and then having to click the back button to return to your site is bad for continuity (and no fun!).
More info on what/how to use LightBox JS can be find as follows:
