   အျပစ္လိုက္႐ွာတဲ့ သေဘာမဟုတ္ပါ။ ေမ လိုဘဲ ႏိုင္ငံျခားမွာ ႀကီးၿပီး ျမန္မာစာကို ျမတ္ႏိုးေလ့လာသူမ်ားအတြက္ အက်ိဳး႐ွိေအာင္ စာလံုးေပါင္း၊ အသံုး အမွားေတြ႕ က ေထာက္ျပပါရေစ။

   Thanks bro. So now you calling me May? haha.
   I was looking for that character but can’t find it and don’t know how to place that underneath so I cheated and use that “ThaWinPu” instead, hoping nobody catches. I guess you caught me.
   Thanks for correcting me, please do correct me whenever you see mistakes.
   I learn from those mistakes so thanks again.

   Sorry again. It should be “Ta Won Pu”, တ ၀မ္းပူ (Ta with big belly).
   တ sounds “Ta”
   သ sounds “Tha”

   စိတ္မပ်က္ပါနဲ႕။ ေမ ရဲ့ ျမန္မာစာက ပင္လယ္ရပ္ျခား ျမန္မာအေနနဲ႔ ထိပ္တန္းမွာ႐ွိပါတယ္။
   က်ေနာ့္မွာတူေလးတစ္ေယာက္႐ွိပါတယ္။ စင္ကာပူေမြးျမန္မာေလးေပါ့။ တစ္ေန႔ေတာ့ သူ႔အေဒၚကို ငွက္ေပ်ာသီးကိုင္ၿပီး ငွက္ေပ်ာသီး ေဘာင္းဘီခၽြတ္၊ ငွက္ေပ်ာသီး ေဘာင္းဘီခၽြတ္၊လို႔ ေျပာေတာ့ ဘာလုပ္ရမွန္းမသိဘူး။

   Your writing inspires me to write in Burmese now. I haven’t been written Burmese for sometimes. Can you help me with typing or getting Burmese on web page?

   Hi Thiri,
   It’s so nice to know my writing inspires someone as I thought it is just some childish silly phrases.

   Well it’s good to write again in Burmese and also practice your typing. I’m still having a hard time figuring out the keys but I’m getting there slowly.
   I sent you email about how to set up your blog with Myanmar font, font to use and LatKwat.

   If you need any help just shoot me an email.

    Thanks May, it’s working now after installing the font you sent.

    Well, basically your name is May Hnin Phyu. So formally or officially it should be Miss Phyu or Ms Phyu (English people would pronounce “Miss FAI-U or FI-U”). Among the close friends or colleagues, May should be only your name. (Childhood friends may use nick names). But it is understandable that Burmese will not see forename and surname (second name) separately as it is not Burmese way.

    Buy the way, I have a freind called Htet xxx xxx. Many English for the first time have called her Ha-Tet…Ha-Tet . Now she has changed her name to Emma, which is simple and easy for many people.

    Thanks for the comment. I agree with you on the importance of ones performance over ones name. But this post is simply about my name so I don’t talk of the performance matter here. May be I’ll write a post about it later.

    To briefly reply your comment, yes, I’m Myanmar and I’m doing whatever I can for my country.
    What I do for my country need not be publicized.
    As long as I know I’m doing it and I’m satisfy with myself is all that count.
    I don’t show off by saying “Oh I’m doing this and that for Burma, you should all thank me for that.” I’ll be anonymous and will do the job well. After all, action speaks louder than words. Sorry to disappoint you but I’m not gonna list out things I’ve done/to do for the country to anyone.

    Thanks for stopping by at mayvelous and your kind comment. My writing is nothing compare to those bloggers who can comprehend well in both languages. But I’m still trying to improve in both languages.
