Offline Message on Gtalk

A friend of mine just now testing with me about gtalk letting you send offline messages. We just notice it today that it’s working. I did check many time before and gtalk didn’t offer offline message system and only offline voicemailing. But now it’s available. It doesn’t come with offline message window but it goes into your email.
I think they still working on it or…no public announcement about the feature yet.

It doesn’t come with offline message window. But, it does show up the offline message when you log into Gtalk the way the instant messages arrives with a sound. So, maybe your client is one version lower (I don’t know) or you just haven’t got any offline message yet?
Yes, I got that as email and in chat box window when I log back in. There is no separate offline message window like in yahoo. I think my version is quite latest: 1.0.0.100
