Nah, I wasn’t planning to change anything. I’m just being annoyance by stating things that I don’t understand well. Yah I like his poems too. He surely is a great poet.

hmmm.. the sentence that you wrote in burmese doesn’t rhyme with the rest.

anyway, shouldn’t change anything written by Min Thu Wun. he is one of the greatest poets in mm history. i love his poems.

“Ngan taw kyar” is a krait (looks like this and “ngan mway” is a king cobra (looks like this)
I checked the Burmese-English dictionary to make sure, but it says the same thing. I think the krait is striped and the cobra is not.

I know, so many snake species.

Really? A friend says:

Ngan Mway = Krait,
Mway Hout = Cobra
Mway Pway = Viper

Now what’s the difference between “Ngan Mway” and “Ngan Taw Kyar”? Aren’t they the same kind? eehehee confusing.

“Ngan mway” (ငန္းေမြး) is a king cobra, “ngan daw gya” (ငန္းေတာ္က်ား) is a krait, and “mway bway” (ေႁမြေပြး) is a viper.
