Also, it still can't remember the correct size (the last open size) of, say, My Documents too. It's almost Windows 7 now and Microsoft should do something to remedy it (coz I find it very annoying to have to change the view again and again). I, for one, like the new Ribbon interface of Office 2007. In fact, I'm glad that MS has licensed it to other third-party companies to use the interface. PowerArchiver has now adopted it and so has MindManager. I do understand that a drastic change in the interface is not really very good and MS should have given an option to go back to 2003-like menu style (but they failed in that or they just dropped it completely to force users to try the new UI and to get to like it). Download Helper is still very good and easy to use for me. Just that it gone weird sometimes. I prefer browser based apps rather than desktop installers.
