Think about the amount of productivity lost walking to someone elses cube, filling out the required forms, picking up the discs (unless it has been checked out by someone else already eeek!) and then heading back to install it. 4-5 mins max? Now multiple it by the number of employees who will need to borrow the discs. Then take into account project delays caused by a) discs being used by someone else b) disc &quot;keeper&quot; away. Translate this lost productive into $$ and add in the cost of replacing lost discs....and it becomes worth it =0)</description>

		<description>Hmm... we maybe able to find some disk space on Servers if we ask nicely but who wants to waste time ripping media onto disk?

Our company can&#039;t afford a guy with that job description. We can&#039;t even find cheap attachees.</description>

		<description>Company of over 16,000 employees and around 400 in the same building as I am (other personal from the same department are spread over Italy, Philippines, Thailand, and other locations in the US besides the California location I&#039;m at) and most of the software that we need/use can be installed straight from the IT servers.

If it can&#039;t be found on the server, then there&#039;s a guy in the building whose job description includes installing those programs.</description>
