One Response for "Visual Studio 2010 and the .Net Framework 4.0"
I give up … first to convert my MCAD 1.1 to MCPD 2.0. Then out comes 3.5 with Linq. Now ASP.NET MVC falls from above. Visual Studio 2008 barely shipped last month and they’re already talking about the next version?
It was bad enough that VS.Net and VS2005 both needed to be installed if you wanted to develop for .Net 2.0 and maintain production code written for .Net 1.1
What ever happened to backwards compatibility? MS makes a huge deal about “backwards compatibility” and “not breaking it” for the client whenever there’s a change to IE!
I’m tired … it’s obvious that this is not incremental product improvement based on customer demand. This is just the Microsoft cash cow scheming about how best to keep shareholders in dividends and thousands of employees on the payroll.
Time to hop off this bus and find a development environment that’s going to work for more than 2 years.
