Haven&#039;t installed it on my Vista desktop yet, but works fine on my XP laptop and OS 10.5 laptop. I mostly use a mac and prior to this Skype was the only option for video+audio chats between mac and PC users. Did a lil dance when I read Google&#039;s announcement and checked it out yesterday. Loving it! If the other party in your chat doesn&#039;t have a web cam, it&#039;ll just display their buddy icon while still transmitting a video feed from your webcam.</description>
