Google Apps for Your Domain

Hey check this out. This is very good offer for small/medium organizations. Google is offering (rather beta testing) for google application integration with your own domain. It’s kinda like subdomain system from google. You can offer customised google services like email, chat, calander with your domain.

Google Apps for your domain lets you offer our communication and collaboration tools to your entire organization — customizable with your branding, color scheme and content through the administrative control panel, and with no hardware or software to install or maintain.

Well I don’t think my domain can apply for that cos’ mine is personal and definitely not an organization type. But I think InternetFiji would try to test/make use of this for some of their customers. I’m sure inet will get an account if they apply for it. Well…just a thought, since I can’t check out for myself, Ian you mind setup an account for inet so I can play with it? :D
Anyways here are some facts.

Quick Facts
Cost: Organizations accepted by Google during the Google Apps for Your Domain beta period are eligible for free service for their approved beta users even beyond the end of the beta period, as described in the Terms of Service.

Languages:
Administrative control panel – Currently fully supported in English only.

Fully supported browsers

Step 1: Sign your organization up
step1

Step 2: Log in to the control panel and create your user list

Step 3: Select which services you want

Photo blogging on actions of last week sunday game: 3rd September 06 at Yet Sen Secondary School.

A friendly game between various badminton clubs from Suva and Lautoka organised by Lautoka Chinese Business Group.

Club in action the courts

Yet Sen Courts are where we held most of our Badminton Games and is a place where everyone loves to hang out either to play Badminton, Table Tennis or Basket Ball.

Ladies Single

Mom and Sally gave a hard time to all ladies double pairs and they won the final against Lautoka. My mom having a bad kneel and Sally with sore wrists, their games were so fun to watch.

Lunch time break

Jessy + Mom Phothar - Lunch time rest

Peace from Jessy and Mom. Aung taking a rest for his next mix-doubles and single games.

Mens Doubles : Aung + Jack
Aung+Jack - Men Doubles Men Double Winners

Aung and Jack played final Men Single with 3 sets. Aung had a very hard time with Jack and in the last game he tried so hard to get 21 all. Then 22 twice, 23 twice and the last point is scored by Jack to be a Men Single Winner. Aung was satisfied with Men Single Runner up. That was the best and longest game of all. Everyone enjoyed it and applauded so loud in the end. They team up to play Mens Doubles and they won the final, no doubt about that.

Mix Doubles : Aung + Mom
Aung+Mom - Mix Doubles Beryl+Jessy - Ladies Double

Aung and Mom played Mix and won Mix Doubles against the gangs from Lautoka – Wong + Nail. Sisters team by Beryl and Jessy lost to Lautoka gals in semi-final.

I got so tired watching and fell sick afterward. I think too much taking photos and didn’t had my lunch well. Was so hungry the whole day and came back home so late. It’s not easy being a photographer haha.

I’m 23

Yep, it’s my 23rd birthday today.

Apart from getting a year older, stupider, thinner, busier, lazier and crazier,…
I’m still the same old May and Mayvelous still stands.

Burglish Chat

Oh just doing free advertising. This one is a lot better than the last one – The Burglish Conversion.
This picks up the similar words and also convert simple English words.

Next Generation Burglish Chat with Burglish to Burmese Input Method – Testing Version v0.1.0821

Test is here. www.Burglish.com

http://www.soemin.net/php/chat3/

There is no intro or proper write up about the program yet, cos’ just out yesterday or so. The developer is a friend of mine, Ko Soe Min (Mark), you might see him around in some of my post comments.

The Burglish conversion there is very cool, the methods are very similar to those of Chinese and Japanese language packs. Ko Soe Min is very smart in Japanese Language so I guess he got the idea from there. I saw some of my Chinese friends uses their language installer and type in English which picks up Chinese characters and get the best match from it. This Burglish chat works in exact same way, it’s very fast and easy to use. But you need Firefox 1.5.

I’m just loving it. My bro and some of my friends who tested it also give a good thumb ups.
Excellent work Ako. It would be nice if you do a bit of intro write up and explain about it. Here I am spreading the good words, mont kwe oo naw. hehe.

Updated:
Please check “Mark” comments below for updates on the program.
There is a direct domain to the Burglish Chat now. visit: www.burglish.com

Gtalk – Voice Mailing

I’m so loving the new gtalk features.
I got the new features a few days back and just today I got time to check them out properly.

We’ve been working hard to add your top-requested features to Google Talk, such as fast and reliable file transfer, and the ability to send and receive voicemail messages for free. We’ve even created a fun little feature for you music lovers.

So today, we’re excited to be releasing these features to a small percentage of Google Talk users. We’ll be rolling these features out to all Google Talk users on the U.S.-English interface in the coming weeks.

Via: Googletalk Blog

My favorite one is voice mailing. You can send voice mail to the followings:

  • Online contacts
  • Offline gtalk contacts
  • Old Gtalk Version Users
  • Other email (yahoo, hotmail, etc) contacts

Oh when you send voice mail, the message goes like this.

The person you trying to reach is not available.
Please leave your message after “Me”.
Meee!

The last “Me” part is funny hehe.

Online Contact with New Gtalk Version

Offline Contact

Non-Gmail Contact
othermailvoice

I’m not a fan of direct file sending but still it’s good to have it since other messenger services got it.

The music playing status is cool too. I just love the music icon.

Anyway I just sent about 20 voice mails to my online, offline and other email friends now. hehehe :d I hope they appreciate my most sensational voice LOL.

Oh yah do drop me some voice mails too so I can check out your fantastic voices.
