So they found some bugs in 2.0.6 and releasing a new version before they go into 2.1 at end of this month. Only a few files to upgrade though.
Recently a bug in certain versions of PHP came to our attention that could cause a security vulnerability in your blog. We’re able to work around it fairly easily, so we’ve decided to release 2.0.7 to fix the PHP security problem and the Feedburner issue that was in 2.0.6.
Here is the list of files that have changed since 2.0.6:
- wp-admin/inline-uploading.php
- wp-admin/post.php
- wp-includes/classes.php
- wp-includes/functions.php
- wp-settings.php
- wp-includes/version.php
Download here. Toooo many upgrades…..a hint..

Hey guys, check this site out, ziptophone.com. It’s free text messaging using Ajax and MooTools effects.
ZipToPhone is a free text messaging service. Using this tool, you can easily send text messages and send MMS messages to a cell phone. This is ideal for sending custom ringtones, games, wallpapers, logos, photos, or any other file that your cell phone can process. It’s also perfect for sending a quick message to a friend when you are without your phone.

Very clean, no registration required, no ads and nothing what soever at all. Very simple and sweet. Works like a charm. I tried it to my gangs in Fiji. All works and very fast too. Most of free sms sites doesn’t offer service to send to Fiji but this one does, so i’m sure if Fiji can receive it, other countries will be just fine.
Currently, there is a limit of 5 messages per day per IP address. We’ll be rolling out the option to upgrade your account and send more messages soon.
But ofcos, there is a limit of 5 messages per day from one IP. It’s very new site, so may be they’re still test driving.

Another wordpress update is out and about – WordPress 2.0.6, seems like this is the last release before WP goes into 2.1 beta stage.
This is the latest release in our stable 2.0 line, which we’ve committed to maintaining for several more years.
Here’s what’s new:
- The aforementioned security fixes.
- HTML quicktags now work in Safari browsers.
- Comments are filtered to prevent them from messing up your blog layout.
- Compatibility with PHP/FastCGI setups.
For developers, there’s a new anti-XSS function called attribute_escape(), and a new filter called “query” which allows you filter any SQL at runtime.
Right, so gotta upgrade it this weekend. Just a note for you guys anyways.

Have you guys notice about this feature on Google Reader?
There is this “Original audio source” link with flash-based audio player showing up for some posts that have audio links. I saw that on a few posts but I thought it was the blogger’s doing. But now I just saw that on my own music pick post and realised that it was actually one of Greader features.

Pretty cool huh? You can play all the mp3 the first mp3 source on the page directly without the need of downloading. Sweet!

I watched 6 o’clock news about yet another new PM swearing-in. This time it’s the big guy himself. I thought last time Bainimarama was accepting some applications for PM post. I guess no one cares to apply for it so he fills himself in.
Moreover, he is now taking two positions?? – PM as well as Military Commodore. I wonder how he will manage that.
Army commander and coup leader Voreqe Bainimarama has been sworn in as Fiji’s interim prime minister.
Via: FijiTimesAt a press conference, Cdre Bainimarama said he will hold on to the RFMF Commander’sposition while he discharges his duty as the Interim PM.
Via Daily Post.
I’m wondering how are they going to address him – “The Honorable Commondore Prime Minister Frank Bainimarama, Sir”. Whoa, what a long title. I need some water.
Mean while, military checkpoints are still in action and it’s kinda fun watching those soldiers standing in the rain. I think they got pay hourly rate or something. I think people around the country feel more secure with soldiers on the road as it reduces crime rate and more good night sleep.
It’s a mix feeling among people. Some approve of military take over (quite alot actually) and some don’t (more like international media and relations). What about my feelings? Hey who cares what I feel or think right? I’m ok as long as there is no shooting or bloodshed. But it’s not so cool if this affects country economy and reputation. Come to think of…ditch reputation, cos’ every country has the goods and the bads so yes only economy to consider. So I still disapprove of the pay cut policy! Humph!

I’ve tested the Google Reader since it came out but in the beginning it gave me errors while importing my subscriptions, messed up the folders and tags so I continued with my Bloglines.
After the newly upgraded Google Reader I was able to transfer all my subscriptions successfully. Now I’ve completely switched across Google Reader and loving it.
Some functionalities on Google Reader I like to see are:
I’m sure the developers are improving as we speak cos’ just now I’ve discovered this new feature called “Trends” where you can view the stats of your reading trends by “Last 30 days”, “Time of day” and “Day of week”. It also tells you how much you’ve read in a brief summary as my stats here:
From your 453 subscriptions, over the last 30 days you read 5,008 items, starred 0 items, and shared 15 items.
There are “Reading trends”, “Subscription trends” and “Tags” where the more items a tag has, the bigger it appears. The more of those items you have read, the darker it is. In my case, my tags are my folders.
Seems like you got more control over your reading habits and quite fun checking out neat little stats along the way. Have fun analyzing your “Trends“.

So it is Burma’s 59th Independence Day since Burma achieved its independence from the British colonial rule on 4th January 1948.
I thought of writing something about our Independence Day but nothing came out from my head.
Are we celebrating?
Are we happy?
Are we independent?
I don’t feel a thing about it, I don’t even remember sometimes.
I thought of putting up our flag on this post. Then I got confused which flag to put.
I thought of writing as “Myanmar” then I messed up with “Burma”.
I tried to remember how we celebrate Independence Day back in Yangon, the capital city then I remembered it has changed.
I tried hard to remember something about Independence Day…nothing…nothing at all.
Oh well, what a shameful state of mind I’m having. Anyway at least I got the date right.
So Salute!
