Say, A Burmese Gal? Pop star yarr. Named Natalise from San Francisco. I haven’t listen her songs yet, I just got this from a friend and passing on. She surely look HOT! Check her Bio, Photos and Song at her site: www.natalisemusic.com/
Men across America are being tantalized by Natalises stunning Asian-American looks (both her parents are immigrants from Burma, a land between Thailand and India)–so much so that Maxim, one of the countrys leading mens magazines, recently declared her a ‘Girlfriend of the Day’…
And…she is smart too. You go gal!!!
Despite being a straight ‘A’ student at one of the nations most prestigious schools, Natalise could not ignore her calling. She made a pact with her parents that if she could graduate Stanford in only three years, they would let her pursue her real dream of having a musical career. Natalise who majored in Communication, while working on her songwriting and singing occationally at community based events won the bet….

Updated: My sincere request to all mmbloggers
Hey why don’t we just take these as a merry debate and let’s just not be too serious about it? I know some of you are really pissed at me but don’t you think you enjoyed reading all those comments on how pissed you are about my post? I’m sure in your unconscious mind, you are enjoying the talks.
As for me, I’m loving it! I have never seen this much numbers of comments and posts on one issue yet and I have never seen varieties of you-bloggers feelings before. I must say, I have achieved my purpose in placing the “voices” to where it belongs. (smile)
This is the whole point you see; bring up something to discuss on, debate on, talk about, think about, feel about, express about, swear about, be sad about, be happy about, be piss about. After all we human beings are very emotional creatures and sometimes it’s very good to show your true emotion as it sets you free.
Don’t you think KoNLS and I are doing the splendid job of making you think, making you speak up, making you comment on the issue that you have very different view on? I must say this is kind of interesting to see many people who have never commented/visited your site suddenly take interest in what you are saying and dropping their 2cents. After all that’s what the whole blogging is about (for me at least), to share ideas and viewpoints through effective commenting. Your comments (bad or good) are helping me see things in different perspectives, which in turns will help me a lot in my future purposes.
Boy, believe it or not, I seriously thank you all for this. First I thought of ignoring you, but that would be disrespect for all of you and it shows that I do not care about others, which is wrong. I made up my mind that, I will never be “don’t care” kind of person and I started this post because I actually care about mmBlogging community.
You are angry now but you won’t be angry for long. Once your anger fades away, you’ll be amazed that you actually voice up on what you believe in and stood up bravely to say so. I’m so proud of you and you know you are too. (smile)
I am told that in many culture, when a gal/lady is requesting sincerely, the gentlemen would consider. (smile)
Sweet arse kicking Excellent comments and posts I shook up.(wink*)
Post starts here:
I came across this Fiji site “Vakaivosavosa” the other day via incoming links in my admin. I didn’t know there are much of Fiji bloggers out there, but it seems like quite a lot actually exist and the number is growing. This site has a good list of Fiji blogs and he added my site as one too. How cool is that.
I have no idea how he come to know my site or who exactly the blogger is. I guess from the search hits people can reach each other. There are lots of new fiji blogs and links on his site that I never know of; very interesting. The blog is well established and focus on current affairs and politics in Fiji. The discussions are great with most of the posts receiving comments, impressive!
I guess blogs, blogging and bloggers are in massive blooming each day. Already there are 100+ known blogspot sites by myanmar bloggers compare to less than 5 Myanmar blogs when I started a few year back.
I tried to roll most of the blogs but after a while I lost track as the number increase with a great speed. I must say though, some blogs are not worth rolling along as 80% of them are inactive … I mean test blogs kind of thing but the other 20% doing very well.
Another thing I notice about Myanmar blogs are 90% copy cats. I mean, give me a break, every single blogs have to use the same old black skin? 99% of them have a shout box in it. And do you have to use the same shout box application/code also? Some new blogs just copy the whole thing including shout box code so you can see the other blogger’s conversation on their blog as well. Also, must every single blog have to publish background music or Odoe or downloads just becos this senior/model blogger is doing so?
Please be genuine, why do you have to continue copying what others do?
Where is your originality? Where is your creativity? Where is your imagination? Where is your uniqueness? It’s very depressing to see clone blogs one after another.
Myanmar blogs gene pool getting narrow. No wonder we are slow adapters. We can’t adjust ourselves fast enough with new medium but we tend to dwell on the same old habitual routine. Gosh I’m stunned.
My 2cents: Be creative, let your imaginations go wild for once in a while, show off your artistic side, do change that black background and be colorful for god sake. Instead of yelling 80% nonsense in the shout boxes and utilize comment feature on particular topic/post to give your constructive feedback once in a while. Let your voice be heard in a proper way, in a great manner, with legitimate reasoning. And let your comment be resourceful and supportive for each other.
I’m not degrading Myanmar blogs nor I intending any displeasure. I have a great respect for Myanmar blogging community and am very fond of some blogs as I visit them regularly. I guess I’m just doing a merry observation on Myanmar blogging community as they are blooming intensively. And now I’m starting to check out Fiji blogging progress as well. I’m glad no black background yet and no clone blogs yet.

I’m passing on this article on “How to Download Google Video”. I’m sure some of you already know about this.
This is just for whoever don’t know yet and wanna try out.
It’s very useful for me since I cannot watch movies online with my low speed internet and must take time to download. My example is on “Nge Chit Oo” movie from Khayanpyar Einmet.
The site is right-click disabled but that’s nothing to worry about if you’re use firefox with webdeveloper extention.
Go to the video page and click the icon at the bottom to browse to actual google video page as shown in the following screen shot.

It will direct you to actual google video page like this link.
Follow the steps below to download google video.
- View the page source code and search for the keyword “googleplayer”
- Copy and paste the videoUrl parameter (all of the characters after the keyword “videoUrl=”)
- Press Ctrl-L to go to URL location bar. Type Javascript:unescape(“videoUrl”)
where videoUrl should be the last parameter you have copied into the clipboard.
- It should output the actual URL on the broswer, copy and paste that URL onto your browser location bar again to download the FLV movie.
- Play it with a FLV Player.
Notes:
#1. Ctrl-F on view source page to enable search feature, type in the search keyword.

#2. Some cases have to start after id/parameter as well. ie) in my example: everything after “videoUrl\u003d”,
start from “http” part till “%3Den” in the end.
Leave out “&autoPlay\u003dtrue\”
#5. I use this FLV player. The file (ngalchitoo) size is ~143MB by the way.
The easier way of getting video link is using “Adblock” firefox extension.
Read more about using “Adblock” extention to get google video link here.
You can also use some sites to generate url directly for you too (read the article for more), but this javascript method is just fine for me.
The same concept applies for YouTube videos too. Feel free to test around and enjoy downloading.

Hey check this out. This is very good offer for small/medium organizations. Google is offering (rather beta testing) for google application integration with your own domain. It’s kinda like subdomain system from google. You can offer customised google services like email, chat, calander with your domain.
Google Apps for your domain lets you offer our communication and collaboration tools to your entire organization — customizable with your branding, color scheme and content through the administrative control panel, and with no hardware or software to install or maintain.
Well I don’t think my domain can apply for that cos’ mine is personal and definitely not an organization type. But I think InternetFiji would try to test/make use of this for some of their customers. I’m sure inet will get an account if they apply for it. Well…just a thought, since I can’t check out for myself, Ian you mind setup an account for inet so I can play with it?
Anyways here are some facts.
Quick Facts
Cost: Organizations accepted by Google during the Google Apps for Your Domain beta period are eligible for free service for their approved beta users even beyond the end of the beta period, as described in the Terms of Service.Languages:
Administrative control panel – Currently fully supported in English only.
Gmail, Talk, Calendar and Page Creator – varies by product.Fully supported browsers
- Microsoft IE 5.5+
- Mozilla Firefox 0.8+
- Safari 1.2.1+
- Netscape 7.1+
- JavaScript and cookies must be enabled on all browsers.
Step 1: Sign your organization up

Step 2: Log in to the control panel and create your user list

Step 3: Select which services you want

Step 4: Activate your services

Step 5: Show your users where to find their new communication and collaboration tools

Sweet isn’t it? K try it out.

I hate raining days and dull weather. The whole day, it’s been raining, cold, wet and just sucks. The worse thing is to wake up in the raining morning for work while we’re still half asleep.
Well this is not about how I hate raining day, but it’s about how I love to eat “Yakhine Mont-Te” during cold weather so the weather still counts. So this evening my mom made “Yakhine Mont-Te” and I have two bowls full as soon as I got back from work. There is nothing like the taste of hot-chili-pepper soup to drink in a cold, bad weather like today.
Back in Burma, “Yakhine Mont-Te” is most popular in winter days. You got to eat with lots of pepper and chili and while it’s very hot. If you’re Burmese I bet you know what Yakhine Mont-Te is. But for the sake of my non-Burmese friends, let me do a bit of explaining.
Yakhine : a tribe/group out of hundreds of tribes in Myanmar.
Mont-Te : it has different meanings depending on how u use it. Some cases it means “salad”, in this case it mean mix soup.
So “Yakhine-Mont-Te” means Yakhine soup…or whatever it means. You got the idea. “Yakhine Mont-Te” is a food soup (obviously!
). It’s a specialty of Yakhine people. Well Burmese(Burman) people can make that very well too.
It’s very easy to make and takes only a few minutes if you have all the ingredients. The main ingredients here are some good fish and a good piece of “Nga Pi” (Burmese Chocolate/Fish Paste).
In Burma we use “Ngar Khu”, “Ngar Gyin” (Fish Types) for this. I think my mom use “Wah Lu” fish today, but it’s better with those colored fishes, they’re softer and sweeter. Then you need a good “Yakhine Nga Pi” and lots of grinded dry prawns.
All those gonna make it sweet but it’s not support to be sweet. It’s support to be hot. For that you need lots of black peppers and white pepper afterward. Well the idea is you mix all up in water and let it boil. Put some salt too ofcos. I’m not quite sure whether the fish needs to be cooked first or can use raw one…(will check with mom and update soon).
So that’s done the soup part. But you can’t drink the soup alone. You need vermicelli(Mont-Fat) to mix with. You have to boil vermicelli separately and drain the water out. Put little oil to it so that it’s good to handle.
When the soup ready, put soup and vermicelli in a bowl and done.
Ah…not quite.
To make it better, you need three more things.
That’s it! You have a perfect “Yakhine Mont-Te”.
I take some shots of it to share with you but I forgot to put coriander in there. Yummy!
If you want proper recipe, go ask my mom.
